Terry grew up in Warrenton, Oregon; graduated from Warrenton High School in 1967. He served in the US Navy 5/69 - 7/72 with 3 cruises to Vietnam and back, receiving a combat action medal. He passed quietly at home in Hospice care, following a yearlong battle against ALS-Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

He leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Nancy; his mother, Bonnie Moore; his sisters Vicky Nelson, Jan Tripp, Lori Lemmon and their extended families.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at his home in Milwaukie with close friends and family, at a future date.
