Donald (Donnie) Leroy Adams

 

Born March 23rd 1961, passed away in Warrenton, Oregon, May 10, 2013. He graduated from Warrenton High School, class of 1979, where he enjoyed playing football and playing saxophone in the band. Donnie was a lifelong resident of Clatsop County and will be remembered by the community for his strong work ethic, willingness to help others, and his charismatic personality. Donnie enjoyed playing sports, bow hunting, camping, playing cards with friends, and spending time with family, especially his cherished grandchildren who knew him as “Papa.” He worked as a beverage route salesman for 17 years.

Donnie is survived by his mother Nancy King, father Larry David Adams and stepmother Carol Adams; father-in-law Jim Rash, mother-in-law Diana Rash, and mother-in-law Marge Beck; brother Dale Adams, sister Deborah (Adams) Mehling, sister Diana Adams, and brother Michael Ulness. He resided in Warrenton, Oregon, with his wife Teena Adams, together 20 years and married since January 1998. His children and their spouses; Kelsey and Forest Betts, Ashley and Bruce Olson, Carlee and Lori Davis, Jolie and Jesse Taylor, his four grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial reception held at The Seaside Elks on Friday May 17th, between the hours of 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
